Solution Focused Supervision is founded in a systemic solutions focused mindset, which means as supervisors we focus on the supervisee’s strengths and resources. Solution Focused supervision is about how YOU navigate a therapeutic session not about the case. Therefore, you are invited to bring a case or a question that we will jointly unfold in an attempt to help and support you gain greater insight and options for action and what to do and thus feel more competent. You can bring both cases where you experience frustration and powerlessness or successful cases where you are curious about how that became possible, because when you know how to create a success, you can do it again.

This interactive workshop invites therapists to bring case studies to be discussed. Anne-Marie Wulf and I would like to work through real cases that the therapists are working on in their practices. The supervision will focus on Solution Focused principles and outcomes as well as therapist development. This is a great opportunity to learn from one another about how to DO Solution Focused Therapy and how to BE a Solution Focused therapist.

The workshop will also discuss the subtlety of big questions e.g. “what are your best hopes” and the importance of small questions e.g. “what will you notice happening differently”. During the supervision workshop we are also inviting participants to discuss what they get stuck with and share ideas on how to get the therapy flowing again. Our best hopes are that the workshop not only equips participants with ideas and skill in their practice but also helps them with personal development and growth as Solution Focused practitioners. It is about you experiencing yourself more competent and capable in your work.
